We are centrally located on over 50 acres of green space on the banks of the Speed River in Guelph, Ontario. We offer forested walking trails, lawns and gardens, a meditation labyrinth, tennis courts, lovely vistas, and several other amenities. They are available to patients, so their stay at Homewood Health Centre is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Our grounds house several amenities, including a baseball diamond, tennis courts, meditation garden, horseshoe pits, basketball net, gazebo, reading nooks and gardens.
We have a well-appointed gym, recreation centre, greenhouse for horticultural therapy, music therapy room, arts and crafts, laundry facilities, library, dining room, café and gift shop. We also have on-site massage and osteopathy therapies on a fee-for-service basis.
We admit new patients Monday through Friday between 8:00 and 11:00 am. Your admission appointment will vary depending on which program you are attending. Intake Services staff will review the admission details with you and set your date and time.
There are no admissions on weekends or holidays. It would be best if you were on time for your admission appointment. Late arrivals may result in your admission being rescheduled.

All patients admitted to Homewood Health Centre must be willing to abstain from all tobacco products during their stay. Tobacco products include cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, snuff, cigarillos, water pipes, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, lighters, and matches. Bringing tobacco-related products onto the Homewood Health Centre campus and satellite offices and smoking or vaping is prohibited on any part of the properties under the Smoke-Free Act (2017) provincial legislation.
Patients will be offered resources for quitting tobacco or remaining smoke-free/vape-free/tobacco-free at no additional cost. Tobacco cessation support includes assessment, counselling, group support, strategies for behaviour change, follow-up support at discharge, and withdrawal management with approved tobacco cessation aids.
