Addiction Medicine Program – Substance Use

Combines 24/7 medical care with a highly structured program using proven therapies for behavioural change over six weeks
The highly structured program consists of two phases of treatment: focusing first on assessment, withdrawal management, and stabilization; then moving into active treatment, which includes planning for ongoing recovery management

Addiction Medicine Program – Mood, Anxiety, Concurrent

This concurrent (co-occurring) program allows individuals time to fully explore the intersection of their mental health and substance use issues while learning skills they need for lasting recovery.
The connections between mental health and substance use can be complex, and both issues deserve and require evidence-based therapies to support recovery and wellness.

Eating Disorder Program

Canada’s largest inpatient eating disorder program offers evidence-based, personalized treatment to individuals 16 and older.
Helps individuals: develop and restore healthy attitudes and eating habits; learn about balanced nutrition, physical activity and other eating disorders; learn healthy ways to cope with emotional difficulties; and improve family, marital and personal relationships.

Guardians Program

Nine-week program dedicated to first responders, military and veterans who are struggling with the symptoms of trauma(s) or with co-occurring trauma and addiction that they have encountered.
Medically-based, physician-led, multidisciplinary care that addresses the disorder’s physical, psychological, and social aspects.

Integrated Mood, Anxiety and Addictions Concurrent Program

Nine-week program dedicated to adults 18 and older who are experiencing mood and/or anxiety disorders with or without problematic substance use
This highly structured program consists of several phases of treatment, including withdrawal (if needed), stabilization and foundation setting, peer support and discharge planning.

Traumatic Stress Injury & Concurrent Program - Cornerstone

Nine-week program dedicated to adults 18 or older who are struggling with the symptoms of trauma(s) or with co-occurring trauma and addiction that they have encountered.
Medically-based, physician-led, multidisciplinary care that addresses the disorder’s physical, psychological, and social aspects.

Women’s Trauma & Concurrent Program

Nine-week program dedicated to addressing traumatic stress injuries, including PTSD, with or without co-occurring substance use disorders
Medically-based, physician-led, holistic care in a gender specific environment that fosters safety and connection among female co-patients

Assessment & Stabilization Unit

This three-week inpatient program offers a holistic approach that blends in-depth assessment interviews with various independent evaluations providing patients with a complete longitudinal view of their clinical presentation, functional abilities and strengths.
If the patient struggles with substance use, the unit supports abstinence from substance use in a controlled environment, with regular testing available when necessary.

Mood, Anxiety, Substance Treatment & Recovery Service (MASTRS)

A premier treatment option for mature individuals experiencing life-stage changes or physical impairments related to aging or neurodegenerative diseases.
Treatment goals are created collaboratively with the patient and the physician-led interdisciplinary treatment team.
Treatment focuses on attaining the highest level of independence, well-being, self-worth and understanding of their illness.
