Homewood Health’s Addiction Medicine Program – Substance Use is a nationally recognized flagship program that combines 24/7 medical care and a skilled interdisciplinary team with a highly structured program using proven therapies for behavioural change over six weeks. Enhanced content is offered for health care professionals, first responders, military and veterans.
Homewood Health has a long history as a leader in treating eating disorders, mental health, trauma, addiction and co-occurring disorders. We can advise on a treatment program that suits you best.
Addiction Medicine Program patients are assessed at intake and discharge using several tools, including the Aggregated Drug Craving Scale (ADCS). Based on data, from May 2018 to June 2021, only 14% of patients had moderate to severe cravings at the end of the program, while 86% had mild to minimal cravings.
We also monitor patient satisfaction regularly to assist with quality control and ensure patients receive the highest quality care. Based on recent data, 91% of patients stated the program had met their needs.
