Homewood Health Centre’s 2026 Mental Health Symposium brought together more than 200 primary care providers and mental health professionals for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection.
Held under the theme “Advancing Mental Health Through Knowledge and Connection,” the event highlighted the importance of lived experience, integrated care, and compassionate, evidence-informed support across the mental health care continuum.
The symposium featured powerful perspectives from Canadian Olympian Cynthia Appiah and mental health advocate Adrienne Patterson, along with clinical insights on topics including alcohol use disorder, eating disorders, trauma, AI in mental health, and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation.
