At Homewood Health, we recognize that family and/or friends are an important part of a patient’s social support system. Family/friend involvement is determined based on the patient’s individual needs.
The treatment team can offer help with how to offer support and barriers to recovery. We may also provide family and friends with educational materials or resources.
When your family member returns home, please encourage them to review their learned skills and keep up with scheduled appointments. Ask how you can support them.
